People who were connected with me on Facebook figured out how I truly felt about the social network when I up and deleted my account several weeks ago.  After a series of small but annoying 'events' I had had enough of signing on to a forum where morons take the floor most often and privacy boundaries are something you have to fight for and maintain with the tenacity of Nick Burns, your company's computer guy.

It's just not for me.
